Emerald Atlas is a personalized travel planning company based in Columbus, Ohio, serving travelers nationwide. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and in the course of planning travel, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. Name, email address, phone number, travel dates, party composition, budget range, preferences, and anything else you choose to share in a consultation request, contact form, newsletter signup, or Travel DNA assessment.
• Travel booking information. When you book, suppliers require details such as legal names as they appear on identification, dates of birth, passport details, loyalty numbers, and payment information. Payment details are provided directly to suppliers or their secure payment systems.
• Technical information. Standard server and browser information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring page.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, design and book your travel, communicate with suppliers on your behalf, support you during travel, and — where you have opted in — send occasional travel notes. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

To book travel, we must share necessary details with the relevant suppliers: airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, transfer companies, and insurance providers. Each has its own privacy practices. We also use service providers for website hosting, email, and booking administration, who process information on our behalf. We may disclose information where required by law.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not currently run third-party advertising pixels or cross-site tracking. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will name them here and add a consent control before any non-essential script runs.

Retention and security

We keep client travel records for as long as needed to service your trips and to meet recordkeeping obligations, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message. Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them directly. Information about minor travelers is provided by the booking adult.
