Terms & Conditions

Our role
Emerald Atlas is a travel planning and booking agency. We act as an intermediary between you and the suppliers who actually provide your travel — airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, transfer companies, and insurers. We do not own or operate those services.
Supplier terms govern
Every booking is subject to the terms, conditions, and cancellation policies of the supplier providing it. We will make those terms available to you before you commit, and it is your responsibility to review them. Where supplier terms and these terms conflict, the supplier's terms control that booking.
Fees and payments
Emerald Atlas offers a flat-fee custom itinerary for clients who book their own travel, or percentage-based full booking support when we handle each booking component. Your fee will be quoted and agreed in writing before work begins, and planning fees are non-refundable once work has started. Deposits and final payments are set by the supplier and are payable on the supplier's schedule.
Changes and cancellations
Changes and cancellations are subject to supplier penalties, which can include the full value of the booking. We will advocate on your behalf and explain your options, but we cannot waive a supplier's policy. We may charge a reasonable administrative fee for substantial reworking of a booked itinerary, disclosed in advance.
Travel documents and eligibility
You are responsible for holding valid passports, visas, and any required health documentation, and for ensuring the names on your bookings match your identification exactly. We will advise on requirements, but requirements change and final responsibility rests with the traveler.
Travel insurance
We recommend travel insurance for international travel, cruises, and higher-investment trips. If you decline coverage, we may ask you to acknowledge that decision in writing. Coverage decisions and claims are made by the insurer, not by Emerald Atlas.
Limitation of liability
Emerald Atlas is not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, defaults, or insolvency of any supplier, or for events beyond our reasonable control including weather, strikes, civil unrest, public health events, and government action. Our liability for our own services is limited to the fees you paid us directly.
